ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday vehemently condemned the heinous terrorist attack that occurred in Dera Ismail Khan, targeting a military convoy.
As per the police report, the convoy was en route from Dera Ismail Khan to Tank when a suicide bomber deliberately drove an explosives-laden vehicle into the convoy, resulting in fatalities and injuries of the soldiers.
In his statement, the prime minister extended heartfelt prayers to Allah Almighty, asking for elevated ranks for the martyred soldiers and strength for the grieving families to endure their loss.
He affirmed the unwavering resolve of the Pakistan Army in the relentless pursuit of eradicating the menace of terrorism. “We will continue our relentless fight against terrorism until it is entirely eradicated from our nation,” he emphasized.
