PML-N Huddle Decides Giving Relief to Citizens in Next Budget

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led government took a decision to give maximum relief to the people in the upcoming budget. According to media reports, a three-hour long meeting was held at Jati Umra with PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the chair to finalize the budget proposals and suggestions in the wake of the current inflation in the country. Sources said that the party leadership was briefed over the three-point agenda during the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Petroleum Minsiter Dr Musadiq Malik, Industries Minister Rana Tanveer, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and Energy Minister Sardar Awais Laghari and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Sources said that the suggestions were given during the marathon meeting to provide maximum relief to the masses in the upcoming budget. The federal ministers and concerned secretaries briefed the meeting regarding the possible relief which can be given to the citizens in the budget.

Meanwhile, Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz pledged to provide relief to the citizens by the provincial government. Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also gave directions to the officials regarding the next budget.  Sources said that the meeting was held a day following Nawaz Sharif once again took reins of PML-N.
