ISLAMABAD: Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), expressed optimism about the gradual reduction of inflation in Pakistan.

He outlined key measures aimed at addressing economic challenges, including enhancing the power supply system, establishing cost-effective energy plants, and advancing solar projects to lower electricity prices, ultimately benefiting the populace.

In an interview with news channel, Khan highlighted the effective policies of the PML-N-led government, noting their positive impact on economic conditions. He underscored plans to implement immediate price reductions in bakery products across all brands and local bakeries, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring affordable and high-quality food for the public.

Moreover, Khan discussed the forthcoming launch of the “Kissan Dost Credit Card” scheme by the Punjab government, aimed at facilitating small farmers with easy access to credit for purchasing agricultural inputs. He hailed this initiative as a transformative step towards modernizing agriculture and driving positive change across Pakistan.

Regarding negotiations with other political parties, Khan emphasized the PML-N’s openness to meaningful discussions with all parties, including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). However, he emphasized the importance of engaging in purposeful negotiations driven by a positive agenda rather than individual interests, highlighting the need for collaborative efforts to address national challenges effectively.
