LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has unveiled its candidates for the Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Faisalabad divisions ahead of the upcoming general elections in 2024.
PML-N senator Ishaq Dar who heads the PML-N Election Cell announced the tickets. As per the details, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed secures the PML-N ticket for National Assembly (NA) Constituency NA-49 (Attok).
Furthermore, PML-N has nominated Malik Sohail Khan for NA-50, Raja Osama Sarwar for NA-51, Raja Javed Ikhlas for NA-52, and Raja Qamar-ul-Islam for NA-53.
Malik Abrar Ahmed has been awarded the PML-N ticket for NA Constituency NA-55, while Hanif Abbasi will hold the ticket for NA-53.
Other awardees include Daniyal Chaudhry for NA-57, Major (R) Tahir Iqbal for NA-58, and Sardar Ghulam Abbas for NA-59.
Jahangir Khanzada will represent PML-N for the Provincial Assembly (PA) Constituency PP-1, while Iftikhar Ahmed Khan secures the candidacy for PP-2. Hameed Akbar, Sahar Ali Khan, Malik Prabi Khan, and Muhammad Bilal Yameen will hold PML-N tickets for PP-3, PP-4, PP-5, and PP-6 respectively.
The Nawaz-led party has nominated Raja Sagheer Ahmed for PP-7 and Iftikhar Ahmed for PP-8. Shaukat Raja Bhatti, Chaudhry Naeem Ejaz, Imran Ilyas Chaudhry, and Malik Iftikhar Ahmed will represent PML-N in PP-9, PP-10, PP-11, and PP-14 respectively. Furthermore, PML-N has fielded Malik Mansoor Afsar in PP-15 and Ziaullah Shah in PP-16.
Raja Abdul Hanif, Sajjad Khan, Haji Parvez Khan, and Sultan Haider Ali have been nominated by the PML-N for PP-17, PP-18, PP-19, and PP-20 respectively. The party candidates for PP-21, PP-23, PP-25, and PP-26 would be Tanveer Aslam Malik, Shehryar Malik, Chaudhry Nadeem Khadim, and Nasir Mahmudullah respectively.
Gujranwala division
The PML-N also revealed its candidates for both national and provincial constituencies within the Gujranwala division. Chaudhry Abid Raza will represent PML-N in NA-62, Nawabzada Ghazanfar Ali Gul NA-63, and Naseer Ahmed NA-65 (Gujarat district). Nisar Ahmed Cheema will hold the ticket for NA-66 in Wazirabad district, and Saira Afzal Tarar will contest for NA-67 in Hafizabad district.
In NA-68 Mandi Bahauddin, the PML-N ticket has been granted to Mushahid Raza, while Nasir Iqbal Bosal will be the candidate for NA-69. Chaudhry Armaghan Subhani, Khawaja Mohammad Asif, Ali Zahid, Nosheen Iftikhar, and Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan will represent PML-N in NA-70 to NA-74 respectively in Sialkot district.
Chaudhry Anwar Haq will hold the PML-N ticket for NA-75 and Ahsan Iqbal for NA-76 in Narowal district. Chaudhry Bashir Virk has been nominated as the PML-N candidate for NA-77.

The announced candidates from various PA constituencies include Hameeda Mian for PP-40, Tariq Yaqoob for PP-41, Khalid Mahmood Ranjha for PP-42, and Chaudhry Akhtar Abbas for PP-43. Additionally, Asif Iqbal has been nominated for PP-44, Tariq Sobhani for PP-45, Manshaullah Butt for PP-47, and Rana Liaquat Ali for PP-48.
Other designated candidates as per the list are Rana Mohammad Afzal for PP-49, Chaudhry Naveed Ashraf for PP-50, Zeeshan Rafique for PP-51, and Chaudhry Arshad Javed for PP-52. Further nominations include Rana Abdul Sattar for PP-53, Ahsan Iqbal for PP-54, Manan Khan for PP-56, and Khawaja Muhammad Wasim for PP-57, Bilal Akbar Khan for PP-58, Bilal Farooq Tarar for PP-59, Muhammad Hanif Malik for PP-27, and Shabbir Ahmad for PP-28. Nawabzada Haider Mehdi has been awarded PML-N ticket for PP-29, Major (Retd) Moin Nawaz Waraich for PP-30, Muhammad Ali for PP-33, and Mian Tariq Mehmood for PP-34.
The PML-N has also awarded tickets to Waqar Ahmad Cheema for PP-35, Adnan Afzal Chatta for PP-36, Mian Shahid Hussain Khan for PP-37, Sheikh Gulzar Ahmed for PP-38, and Mohammad Aun Jahangir for PP-39.
