PM’s Talent Hunt Programme Young Talent to Get Chance in National Games

ISLAMABAD: An important meeting held on Friday between former hockey legend Olympian Khawaja Junaid and the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan.

During the meeting, it was decided that talented youngsters identified through the Prime Minister’s (PM) Talent Hunt Programme would be granted the chance to partake in the upcoming National Games slated for later this year.

The chosen athletes will undergo intensive training to refine their abilities, preparing them to represent Pakistan with distinction, as stated in a press release.

The primary focus of the meeting centered on the rejuvenation of hockey in Pakistan and broader youth engagement through sports initiatives.

Rana Mashhood reiterated the government’s dedication to revitalizing hockey, highlighting ongoing efforts towards that end. Discussions also revolved around Pakistan’s preparations for the South Asian Games (SAG), emphasizing the country’s aim to exhibit its talent on the global platform.
