Ingredients:
Flour Batter:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- Water, as needed
Potato Mixture:
- 2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1 cup chopped green coriander
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp salt
Pinwheel Potato Sticks:
- Leftover roti, as needed
- Potato mixture, as needed
- Flour batter, as needed
- Bread crumbs, as needed
- Wooden sticks, as needed
- Oil, for frying
Instructions:
- Prepare a runny coating mixture by combining flour, red chili flakes, salt, red chili powder, and water in a bowl. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix mashed potatoes, chopped green coriander, red chili powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, cumin powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Spread the potato mixture onto the leftover roti.
- Roll the roti with the potato mixture into a cylinder shape, then cut it into 9 equal parts.
- Thread 2 pinwheel potato pieces onto each wooden skewer.
- Dip the skewered potatoes into the flour batter, then coat them evenly with bread crumbs.
