KARACHI: President Dr. Arif Alvi met with foreign diplomats, bureaucrats, members of civil society, and people from different walks of life at an Eid Milan party held at Governor House, Karachi, on Monday.
The President exchanged Eid greetings with diplomats and discussed issues of bilateral interest. Diplomats from Indonesia, Japan, China, Saudi Arabia were also present on the occasion.
President’s conversation with diplomats
The President called for further improving bilateral economic and trade ties with friendly countries for mutual benefit. In his conversation, he urged the diplomats to work cooperatively to strengthen existing bilateral ties and to work on extending bilateral trade cooperation with Pakistan.
Later, members of the civil society also talked to the President regarding the steps that could be taken to encourage youth towards earning livelihood through various computer courses under the Presidential Initiative on Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing.
The President also met with senior bureaucrats and people from different walks of life.
