Biden will visit Downing Street on Monday to hold a meeting with PM Sunak, just a month after the two sides agreed in Washington to an “Atlantic Declaration” and to work together on the latest technologies, critical minerals and clean energy.

According to Sunak’s spokesperson, the two sides would also discuss the upcoming NATO summit and Ukraine.

In a statement, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said, “As we face new and unprecedented challenges to our economic and physical security, our alliances are more significant than ever,”.

“The United Kingdom is Europe’s key NATO ally, we are the US’s most significant trade, diplomatic and defence partner, and we are at the forefront of giving Kyiv with the support they need to succeed on the battleground,” said Sunak.

Media reported that Biden and the king would discuss climate challenges, a subject on which Charles, has campaigned and spoken out around for more than five decades. Following the meeting, President Biden and PM Sunak leave the UK for Lithuania to attend the NATO summit.
