ISLAMABAD: The President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sakib Rafiq, hosted an iftar dinner, bringing together members of the diplomatic corps and figures from the business fraternity.
In his welcome remarks, Sakib Rafiq mentioned that the annual Iftar Dinner is a regular feature of RCCI, aiming to bring together members of the diplomatic corps and figures from the business fraternity.
Group Leader Sohail Altaf, in his address, called for a ceasefire in Gaza and a peaceful solution to the Palestine problem. He also extended best wishes to Princess Catherine of Wales for her full recovery from cancer.
The event saw a notable turnout of diplomats representing a diverse array of countries, adding an international flair to the gathering. A large number of ambassadors and envoys were present on the occasion, including the Dean of Ambassadors, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atadjan Mulamov, Ambassadors of Malaysia, Ethiopia, Azerbaijan, Kenya, Nepal, Korea, Italy, Egypt, Morocco, Kyrgyzstan, Finland, Belarus, Iran, Romania, and Zimbabwe.
