WASHINGTON: Ukrainian President Zelensky is likely on Capitol Hill and at the White House in the upcoming week as he visits the United States during the UN General Assembly, AP reported on Thursday.
Zelensky’s visit comes as US Congress discusses providing as much as $21 billion in defense and humanitarian help for Ukraine as it fights the Russian attack.
President Zelensky to Visit US
An official told AP on the condition of anonymity that Zelensky will hold talks with President Joe Biden on next Thursday.
Zelensky made a wartime trip to the United States in December 2022 and also delivered an emotional address to a joint session of Congress.

At the time, President Zelensky thanked the US for helping to fund the conflict effort and told MPs the money is “not aid,” but an “investment” in international security and democracy. Details of Zelensky’s trip next week to the US were not yet being made available.
