The protest was organized by a left-wing German politician in Berlin. The protest rally comes a day following the one-year anniversary of Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine. On the day several western allies promised to provide weapons to Ukraine and impose new sanctions against Moscow to express support for Kyiv worldwide.

The protestors said that they ask the German chancellor to stop the escalation of arms supplies as many people are dying daily and they are closing towards World War III.
