PSF Announces Research Grants in Nanotechnology, Material, Artificial Intelligence

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) on Sunday announced a research grant to support researchers and scientists in developing and commercializing products in the areas of Nanotechnology, Material, and Artificial Intelligence under the Competitive Research Program.

 

Scientists, technologists, innovators, engineers, academia, and entrepreneurs from Research and Development institutions, HEC-recognized universities, and industries who have already completed the initial stage of research and development work and require financial help for the utilization of their research outcomes to make new products, pilot-scale production, prototypes, and commercialization are eligible to apply for the grant, an official of PSF informed.

 

Others eligible for grants

 

Besides, the “lone” innovators/ start-ups or Small and Medium Enterprises who have launched a new product, technique, technology, or process and need to bring value addition or improvement by themselves or in partnership with technologists, scientists, and academics of R&D institutes and universities are also eligible to apply.

 

The grants are available for a period of up to 2 years in the streams, including individual researchers/lone innovators/start-ups (up to ten million budget), consortium research groups up to twenty million budget, and Triple Helix model collaborative research projects up to twenty million budget.
