PSL 8: Fakhar’s Sensational Fifty Helps to Post 176 Target for Multan Sultans

ISLAMABAD: Thanks to a sensational fifty from Fakhar Zaman, Lahore Qalandars posted a decent target of 176 runs on the scoreboard against Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8 in the opening match at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Put to bat first, the defending champions Lahore Qalandars managed to score 176 runs in 20 overs, thanks to Fakhar Zaman’s 66 runs off 42 balls.

The left-handed aggressive batter reached the landmark of 2,000 runs in the PSL.

The emerging batsman Tahir Baig also played well, who scored 36 runs off 26 balls before losing his wicket Akeal Hossain.

Muhammad Rizwan leads Multan Sultans

Mohammad Rizwan is leading Multan Sultans, while the star pacer Shaheen Afridi is in charge of the defending champions Lahore Qalandars.
