ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s former all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez will play for Quetta Gladiators in the 8th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in place of injured Ahsan Ali.
The ex-captain will join the Gladiator’s squad in the coming few days after opener Ahsan picked up a knee injury.
Hafeez remained unpicked for PSL 8 earlier
The right-handed batter, who represented Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars in the earlier editions of the PSL, went unpicked in the drafts for PSL 8. However, his fortunes come back with Ahsan’s injury.
The 42-year-old stylish all-rounder amassed 1,596 runs and posted 9 fifties in PSL at an average of 27.51.
