RAWALPINDI: Islamabad United and Karachi Kings will face off in the 19th fixture of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Friday.
The United, led by Shadab Khan, sit third in the points table with six points and a net run rate of -0.334. But they will be a bit low in confidence after losing their last match to Shaheen Shah Afridi’s Lahore Qalandars by 110 runs.
Meanwhile, the Kings, led by Imad Wasim, are placed fifth in the table with four points and a net run rate of +0.565. They also suffered a setback in their last game, losing to Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi by 24 runs.
Qalandars ease past Gladiators in Match-17
Lahore Qalandars eased through Quetta Gladiators by 17 runs in the 18th match of the ongoing PSL season at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Thursday. Chasing a target of 149 runs, Gladiators were restricted to 131-7 in 20 overs.
