MULTAN: Last year’s finalists Multan Sultans will face off Quetta Gladiators today (Wednesday) in the third match of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Multan International Cricket Stadium.
‘Zalmi’ beat ‘Kings’ in match two
In the second match of PSL 8 on Tuesday, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Karachi Kings by two runs after a thrilling back-and-forth contest. Zalmi posted a massive 200-run target, thanks to star player Tom Kohler-Cadmore’s sensational 92 runs off 50 balls. Skipper Babar Azam also showcased his superb boundary-hitting skills but was eventually sent back to the pavilion by Imran Tahir after scoring 68 off 46.
The tournament kicked off on Monday with a thrilling match between the Multan Sultans and defending champions Lahore Qalanders, which the latter won by one run.
