ISLAMABAD: Karachi Kings suffered a major blow as thirteen out of 20 players of the Franchise are suffering from abdominal pain ahead of a crucial match against Quetta Gladiator to be played on Thursday evening in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), 9th edition.
According to a statement issued by the Franchise, most of the players became ill during the match against Islamabad United on Wednesday, adding that the situation of the players was under examination.
The statement further said that those players who would be showed improvement would be available to play the match on Thursday. Meanwhile, the technical committee allowed the Franchise to field two overseas players under the current uneven situation.
Karachi Kings have played four matches in the PSL with two wins and two losses while 4th 5th standing on the table above Lahore Qalandars. The kings will face Quetta Gladiator in a crucial match today.
