ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has enhanced tariff for both its landline and broadband services, set to take effect from today (January 1, 2024).

PTCL customers across the country have been notified of the increase through messages, highlighting a revision in the monthly rates by over 10%.

PTCL officials revealed that the decision to raise tariffs is a response to the escalating business costs faced by the telecommunication company. In an effort to maintain service quality and meet operational demands, the PTCL has deemed it necessary to adjust the pricing structure for its services, according to the officials.

After the tariff revision, landline customers and broadband subscribers will see an increase in their monthly bills. The broadband rate for Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) connections are as follows:

6 Mbps: Rs2,050

10 Mbps: Rs2,400

20 Mbps: Rs2,650

30 Mbps: Rs3,020

50 Mbps: Rs5,100

100 Mbps: Rs8,800
