LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and the appointment of the Punjab caretaker chief minister outside the ECP office.
The protesters were led by PTI leaders including Dr Yasmin Rashid, Hammad Azhar, and Shafqat Mahmood.
Addressing the protesters, Dr Yasmin Rashid said that the elements involved in the regime change operation are being imposed on the country. She said that another biased and controversial decision of the ECP was unacceptable to the people of the country.

On the other hand, PTI has prepared a petition against the appointment of the caretaker chief minister of Punjab. The petition will be filed by PTI lawyers in the Supreme Court Registry for an early hearing.
