LAHORE: Workers and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have gathered at former prime minister Imran Khan’s house due to his expected arrest, local media reported on Thursday night.

According to a local television, a heavy contingent of police also surrounded Zaman Park close to Imran Khan’s house, Lahore. The local PTI leaders and workers are also present outside the residence of former prime minister Imran Khan.
Earlier, the Lahore High Court disposed of an appeal filed by PTI chairman Imran Khan, seeking protective bail following he did not appear before the court. The LHC has given him (Imran Khan) time to appear before the court until 6:30pm. Local media said that Imran Khan did not appear before the court following which the bench of the Lahore High Court dismissed his petition.
Imran Khan had filed the bail appeal following an anti-terrorism court cancelled his bail in a case filed against him for holding protest in front of the ECP office on Wednesday.
The high court, however, conditioned Imran Khan’s bail on his personal appearance in the case.
