ISLAMABAD: The downloads of Pakistan Television’s new video-streaming over-the-top (OTT) platform PTV Flix, crossed 100,000 mark within 3 days of its launch.
Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, launched the initiative on Sunday to provide viewers access to the PTV’s vast library of content on their cell phones and Television screens.

On occasion, Marriyum had expressed her delight at the launch of the new project, which was initiated in July last year, saying it would connect PTV lovers with a national treasure of dramas, documentaries, shows, sports, and other programs, especially the ones produced during the golden era of the national television channel.
The launch of PTV Flix is a significant initiative that will enrich PTV’s content and make it accessible to overseas Pakistanis. With a rich library of old and current content, the new platform is increasingly becoming a popular source of entertainment for Pakistanis worldwide.
