ISLAMABAD: The blockbuster hit “Barbie” movie has been given the green light for screening in cinemas across Punjab, according to Provincial Minister for Information and Culture, Amir Mir.

The movie, which has been one of the most anticipated films of the year, was initially banned in Punjab due to alleged “pro-LGBT” content. However, after a review by the full board on the directives of interim Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the movie has been cleared for release.

It was then sent to the censor board for review, which included Chairman Tauqeer Nasir among its members.
