LAHORE: Pakistan’s Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman said on Monday that the international community must play its crucial role in addressing the longstanding issues of Kashmir and Palestine.
In his statement released on Kashmir Day, he acknowledged the sacrifices made by innocent and unarmed Kashmiris, stating that their resilience has kept the flame of freedom alive.
Expressing his faith, Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman remarked, “I am confident that, with the grace of Allah Almighty, the dreams of Kashmiris will soon come to fruition.”
He urged the media to actively contribute by highlighting the ongoing human rights violations in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman emphasized the unity of Pakistan on this day, standing in unwavering solidarity with Kashmiri brothers and sisters who persist in their struggle for the UN-sanctioned right to self-determination despite the oppressive Indian occupation.
