Qatar, Egypt, Kuwait Congratulate King Salman on Saudi Arabia’s Win to Host Expo 2030

DOHA: Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in a cable on the occasion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) winning its bid to host World Expo 2030 in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.

According to the SPA, the Deputy Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, and the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, also extended congratulation the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in two separate cables.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on winning its bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh, expressing its confidence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ability to hold this significant global event.

The Egyptian Ministry confirmed in a statement that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) organizing this global event embodies the amount of appreciation for the bid it submitted and confidence in its ability to hold the event with all ability and success. It wished the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia further progress and success, the SPA reported.

Kuwaiti Crown Prince

According to the SPA, Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the occasion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) winning its bid to host World Expo 2030 in Riyadh.

In a cable sent to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince affirmed that this distinguished success is a source of pride and honor for the GCC member nations and the sisterly Arab nations, and it symbolizes the great confidence of the world in the competence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and its great capabilities in organizing global events and hosting the World Expo.

He wished for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud continued health and well-being and to achieve all prosperity and progress for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and its honorable people under the wise leadership, the SPA reported.

The SPA reported that Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the occasion of the Bureau International des Expositions’ announcement that Riyadh will host Expo 2030.
