ABU DHABI: Qatari Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has held a meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan in Abu Dhabi, Arab media reported on Thursday.

During the talks, the two sides reviewed regional and global developments, with a particular focus on the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and means to boost humanitarian relief, aid, protect civilian population and decrease the escalation of violence.

They also discussed the relations between the two countries and also explored means to enhance cooperation in diverse fields. The UAE President hosted a dinner banquet in honor of Qatari Emir and his delegation. The dialogues were also attended by several top officials from both nations.
