QAU Resumes Academic Activities for Students

ISLAMABAD: After a brief break, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) reopened its doors to students on March 20, 2023, and resumed its academic pursuits.

In a Twitter message about the reopening of the university, the Federal Minister for Education and Profession Training, Rana Tanveer Hussain, said that learning needs to continue, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) is one of the prestigious universities in Pakistan, and he urged upon all stakeholders to foster the peaceful environment for learning and delivering positivity.

QAU will resume academic activities

The QAU notified all parties that the institute would resume academic activities for M.Phil. and PhD research students on March 20. As a result, all M.Phil. and PhD research students (except those enrolled in coursework) are advised to report to their respective departments, according to the notification.

It is also stated that hostelite M.Phil. / PhD students can be provided with accommodation (if necessary) until June 2023 based on the recommendations of their respective chairpersons, directors, or deans.

All BS (morning/evening) and M. Phil/M.S. (morning/evening/weekend) students and PhD students are advised to complete their registration from March 20 to 27, 2023, as their classes will be held online during the month of Ramzan.

According to the notification, all students who have not paid their fees must do so online at any HBL or Askari bank branch on or before March 27, 2023. However, students are advised to contact their respective departments if necessary.

All Boy’s Hostel residents are directed to collect their belongings from their rooms and contact the “office of the provost boys’ hostels,” where new allotments will be made following the new Hostel Allotment Policy.

All students have been informed that all outstanding thesis submissions must be completed by March 31, 2023. The late submission fee will be charged until February 28, 2023.
