ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan airport authority staff has set up a noble example by immediately tracing a female passenger who lost her bag with valuable items including foreign currency and jewellry at Islamabad International Airport on Wednesday morning and finally returning the bag to her.

A spokesman for the Pakistan airport authority confirmed to WE News English that a brown pouch containing foreign currency (£205, PKR 1,500, and coins) and jewellry (including a gold ring, three earrings, and a nose pin) valued at approximately PKR 600,000 was found at the Emirates check-in counter, Zone 01, at 08:40 am.

Despite initial announcements, the owner did not come forward at the airport.

The Airport Services (APS) team, led by DFO Sultan, was immediately activated and coordinated with Gerry’s staff to make additional announcements, including on the EK613 flight.

Their diligent efforts led to locating the rightful owner, Mrs Parveen, and safely returned her belongings.
