MANCHESTER, England: The final Twenty20 match of the three-game series between England and Australia was abandoned due to persistent rain at Old Trafford, Manchester, on Sunday.
Despite a scheduled start at 13:30 GMT, no play was possible, and umpires called off the game after several inspections, with the decision made at around 15:20 GMT.
The series ended in a 1-1 draw, with Australia winning the first match by 28 runs and England securing a three-wicket victory in the second.
Both teams now turn their attention to the five-match One-Day International series, which begins Thursday at Trent Bridge.
