ISLAMABAD: As Eid approaches, Pakistan braces for unpredictable weather patterns, with rains, hailstorms, and heavy snowfall anticipated across various regions.

According to the updates issued by the met office here on Monday, the harvesting of wheat crops is expected to be completed by Eid, despite the challenging weather conditions. Ramadan is likely to consist of twenty-nine fasts nationwide, with Eid-ul-Fitr projected to fall on April 10.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Swat, Chitral, Malam Jabba, Nowshera, Abbottabad, and Haripur, residents should prepare for adverse weather from April 11 to 15. Similarly, Balochistan, particularly areas like Quetta, Ziarat, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Pasni, Gwadar, and Lasbela district, may receive rain and hail.

Sindh, including Dadu, Sehun, Nawabshah, Larkana, Khairpur, Sukkur, and Karachi, might witness rain, particularly in the Karthar Ranges and surrounding areas.

In Punjab, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Guliyat, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan can receive rain, hail storm, and possibly snowfall in mountainous regions.

Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are expected to experience rain, sleet, and snowfall, accompanied by strong winds in different areas.

As Pakistan navigates through these weather fluctuations, citizens are urged to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and well-being.
