KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh, in collaboration with Customs officials and the police, executed a successful anti-smuggling mission based on actionable intelligence.
The operation led to the confiscation of a substantial cache of smuggled merchandise valued at approximately 120 million rupees. The hidden warehouses containing the illicit goods were discovered in Yousuf Goth, Baldia Town.
The confiscated items included illegally imported confectionery, Iranian blankets, and a diverse range of food products. The intercepted contraband, with a significant market value, has been transported to customs authorities using 12 trucks to initiate necessary legal procedures. Concurrently, ongoing raids are in progress to apprehend individuals associated with this illegal smuggling activity.
A spokesperson from the Sindh Rangers highlighted that the operation underscores their continual commitment to combat smuggling activities within the region.
