Ready to Work with Any Government Formed in Islamabad: Washington

WASHINGTON: The United States (US) has said that it is ready to work with any government that comes to power in Pakistan. This was stated by State Department Spokesperson Mathew Miller at his daily press briefing in Washington.  He said it was clearly a competitive polls in which people were able to exercise their choice.

Responding to questions, the spokesperson said that whoever the people of Pakistan choose to represent them, we will work with that government.

Meanwhile, the political leadership of Pakistan has expressed the commitment to unite and set aside their differences in the larger interest of the nation. Addressing a press conference flanked by former President and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Convener MQM Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, President PML-N Shehbaz Sharif and PML (Q) Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain termed deteriorating economic conditions as the biggest challenge for the next government and called for joint efforts to steer the nation out of this crisis.

Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to the coalition parties to support his party in the formation of government.
