Ingredients:
For Chicken Fajita:
500g boneless chicken (cut into strips)
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp chili sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tsp crushed black pepper
1 tbsp red chili flakes
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1 cup julienne-cut green capsicum
1 cup julienne-cut yellow capsicum
1 cup sliced onion
1 cup julienne-cut tomato
For Assembly:
Bread slices, as needed
Ketchup, as needed
Grated cheddar cheese, as needed
Butter, for grilling, as needed
Method:
Heat oil in a pan and add the chicken. Cook until the chicken changes colour.
Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, garlic powder, paprika powder, crushed black pepper, red chilli flakes, red chilli powder, oregano, and salt to the chicken.
Add green capsicum, yellow capsicum, onion, and tomato to the pan with the cooked chicken. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Set aside.
Take a bread slice and spread ketchup on it. Layer the prepared chicken fajita mixture and cheddar cheese on top. Place another bread slice on top, and spread with ketchup.
Spread butter on each side of the sandwich and grill each side for one minute.
The Grilled Chicken Fajita Sandwich is now ready to be served and savoured.
