ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced on Friday that the freshly refurbished Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and the National Stadium in Karachi are set to be inaugurated on February 7 and February 11, respectively, just in time for the eagerly awaited ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.
“With a bit of luck, we will unveil the Lahore stadium on February 7,” Naqvi shared with the press at the Gaddafi Stadium.

The PCB chief announced that the stadium’s makeover is nearing its grand finale, with workers diligently applying the final flourishes. By 7th February, the transformation will be fully realised, marking the completion of 100 per cent of the work.
