Kabulov emphasized that recent tensions between Iran and Pakistan, marked by airstrikes on Jaish al-Zulm terrorist group’s headquarters inside Pakistani territory, would not hinder the preparations for the meeting. He dismissed concerns, stating that diplomatic efforts remain unaffected.

The meeting’s agenda will focus on key issues, including fostering cooperation with Afghanistan’s current authorities to establish an inclusive government and addressing challenges related to terrorism and drug-related crime. Despite the recent exchange of strikes, diplomatic optimism prevails, with Pakistan’s National Security Committee expressing confidence in resolving differences through dialogue and diplomacy, reinforcing historical relations between Pakistan and Iran.
