ISLAMABAD: Murtaza Hashwani, a well-known businessman and Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Services Limited, met with Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar.
During the meeting, Hashwani paid tribute to the Prime Minister for his successful efforts to bring economic stability to the country.
Discussions revolved around the full utilization of the country’s business potential. Hashwani proposed a business partnership between the country’s business community and the government through the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
The Prime Minister emphasized the immense tourism potential of the region spanning from Khunjarab Pass to Swat. He expressed the belief that significant work can be done in the tourism sector within this region through cooperation between the Pakistani business community and Chinese partners.
Moreover, the meeting also explored the possibility of utilizing government-owned buildings in prime locations for business activities through public-private partnerships.
