ISLAMABAD: Renowned Pakistani actor Nisar Qadri passed away on Sunday at the age of 82 in Rawalpindi after a protracted illness. Qadri left behind a widow and three children.
In 2016, Qadri was honored with the President’s Pride of Performance for showing brilliant acting prowess in the showbiz industry.
He had played many memorable characters in a number of hit dramas on Pakistan Television (PTV).
Actor’s Brilliant Career
Having started his acting journey with Pakistan Television’s (PTV) drama serial “Deewarein” in 1966, Qadri has since portrayed diverse characters on TV, in theatre, films, and radio dramas.
However, due to health issues, he took a hiatus from new drama roles for several years.
