Repatriation of Undocumented Afghans Continues Smoothly

PESHAWAR: Repatriation of Afghan nationals residing illegally in Pakistan continues with 537 individuals returned through the Torkham Border the other day, as reported by the provincial Home and Tribal Affairs Department in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the department, the total number of repatriated illegal Afghan nationals has reached 271,503. Specifically, 267,111 undocumented Afghans have been returned via the Torkham Border, while repatriation efforts also persist through other entry points such as Kharlachi and Angoor Adda.

Through the Angoor Adda border, a total of 3,693 undocumented Afghans have been repatriated so far, and through the Kharlachi Border, 698 Afghans have returned to their country. Across the three borders in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the comprehensive figure stands at 271,503 illegal Afghan refugees successfully repatriated. —APP
