FAISALABAD: The Punjab Emergency Services (Rescue 1122) has meticulously crafted its strategy for the upcoming general elections in the district Faisalabad, ensuring readiness to tackle any unforeseen circumstances.
District Emergency Officer Faisalabad, Zafar Iqbal, presided over a comprehensive meeting to finalize the plan, emphasizing the heightened alertness of Rescue 1122 teams throughout the district during the electoral process.
A total of 134 rescue posts have been established across the district, equipped with 37 ambulance vehicles and 116 motorcycle ambulances to swiftly respond to any emergencies that may arise.
To bolster the workforce, all staff leaves have been revoked, and additional volunteers have been deployed for assistance.
A formidable force of 800 rescuers and 1,376 scouts has been mobilized to ensure effective rescue operations during the elections.
Engineer Tariq Mehmood, Emergency Officer Operations, will oversee the execution of rescue activities, ensuring strict adherence to protocols and zero tolerance for any lapses in performance or professionalism.
