ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman, Muhammad Rizwan, managed to retain his 3rd position, while batting maestro Babar Azam moved down to the 5th slot after his average performance in the ongoing series against New Zealand after the ICC’s release of the new T20 rankings on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s pacer Shaheen Afridi improved his ranking to the 17th position by moving up two spots.
In the batting rankings, Suryakumar Yadav of India retained the top slot with 861 points, followed by Phil Salt of England with 802 points.
ICC Bowling Rankings:
In the T20 bowling category, spinners are dominating the rankings. Adil Rashid of England occupies the top slot with 726 points, followed by Hasaranga of Sri Lanka at number two with 687 points, and Akeal Hosein of West Indies in 3rd position.
Apart from Rizwan, Babar, and Shaheen, Shadab Khan is ranked 24th. However, in the bowling rankings, no Pakistani bowler is included in the top 10.
