LISBON: Cristiano Ronaldo, the legendary footballer, has topped the list of highest-paid Instagram influencers for the third year in a row, according to media reports.
The list, prepared by Instagram scheduling tool Hopper HQ, is based on internal and publicly available data about the earnings of the users for each post on Instagram and YouTube.
The Portuguese professional footballer plays as a forward and captains Saudi Al Nassr Club and the Portugal national team.

Earlier in July, five-time Ballon D’Or winner was declared as the world’s top-paid athlete by Forbes.
The development came after he moved to Saudi Arabia to join Al Nassr football club.
It was reported that his contract with the Saudi football club was worth more than 200m euros per year.
