Ukraine’s Emergency Service also said that a woman, who it identified as mother and wife of the victims, was also pulled from the debris.
Local officials said that two missiles had damaged one building completely and dozens of others partially during the overnight airstrike in the region.
“Severe sentence for the occupiers for this criminal act is inevitable,” a local official wrote on its social media account.
Local governor Yuriy Malashko told the media the wounded woman was shifted to a hospital and was in a critical condition.
The assault was the latest in a series of recent strikes on civilian population in the region as Russia’s full-scale attack drags into its 2nd year.
However, Russia’s ministry of defense claimed on Sunday it has destroyed a depot of fuel near Zaporizhzhia as well as military warehouses of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia areas.
