ISLAMABAD: Elon Musk, the Chief Executive Officer of Tesla, said on Wednesday that South Korea is among its leading candidates for electric vehicle (EV) investment as the company moves to build a gigafactory for EVs in Asia, according to South Korea’s presidential office.
Musk commented in a video call discussion with South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol. According to Yoon’s office, he added that the electric vehicle firm plans to accelerate the supply chain with South Korea.
Recently the Tesla Model S received a 5 Star European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) safety rating.
