Safe Repatriation Efforts Continue: Over 1,150 Illegal Afghan Nationals Return Home

PESHAWAR: The effort to ensure the dignified and secure return of illegal foreign nationals, particularly Afghans, repatriation measures remain ongoing. Transit camps, equipped with essential facilities, have been strategically set up in various districts, providing temporary accommodation for individuals awaiting repatriation.

In the latest update, a total of 1,159 illegal Afghan nationals were successfully repatriated to their homeland. This initiative aligns with broader measures aimed at addressing migration challenges while prioritizing the safety and well-being of those returning.

Cumulatively, the repatriation program has seen a substantial number, with 446,097 illegal Afghans having returned to Afghanistan thus far. This ongoing process reflects a commitment to managing migration flows in a humane and organized manner, ensuring that individuals are afforded a dignified return to their home country.
