These steps demonstrate Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development’s ongoing mission to facilitate the travel of Pakistani workers abroad, ensuring their rights and well-being.

The SAPM, during the ceremony, emphasized the strategic importance of establishing the Protectorate in Islamabad, a city that hosts numerous global organizations, including labor and migration entities as well as foreign missions.

Malik expressing his views said the inauguration of the Islamabad Protectorate Office is not just a milestone for Islamabad but a testament to Pakistan’s resolve in advocating the causes of safe and legal migration internationally.

He went on to say the office will serve as the model protectorate, demonstrating the ministry’s commitment to excellence and its readiness to cooperate with global partners in upholding international standards.

The Islamabad Protectorate Office is expected to become a model for migration services, offering comprehensive support to individuals seeking employment opportunities abroad.

It would serve as a ray of hope and assurance for the Pakistani workforce, facilitating their access to legitimate employment opportunity and safeguarding their rights.

The project is part of a larger government strategy to enhance employment opportunities for Pakistanis both at home and abroad, contributing significantly to country’s economy through remittances.
