RIYADH: MATARAT Holding has announced that Saudi Arabia’s international and domestic airports are ready to welcome Umrah pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

The company has prepared an integrated operational plan to accommodate the pilgrims during this holy season.

The Command and Control Center of MATARAT Holding boosts operations at all airports to enhance operational and media readiness. They continuously monitor operations, deal with risks, predict communication crises, and boost operational performance to make the travel experience memorable through the Kingdom’s airports.

MATARAT Holding works to facilitate arrival procedures and reduce the time to complete the arrival and departure process for travelers through Saudi airports. The company uses all facilities in coordination with government and private agencies operating at airports and supervises the implementation of the approved operational plan.

MATARAT Holding initiated the ‘Passengers with No Bags’ service in the first quarter of 2024 to comfort and smoothness in operational procedures. The facility allows passengers and Umrah pilgrims to complete their travel procedures from their residences and dispatch their luggage 24 hours before departure.
