Saudi Ambassador Hails ‘Road to Makkah’ Initiative for Smooth Hajj Pilgrimage

ISLAMABAD: The Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, lauded the launch of the ‘Road to Makkah’ initiative as a groundbreaking program designed to provide seamless services and enhanced facilities for esteemed pilgrims traveling to the Kingdom for the sacred Hajj pilgrimage.

Speaking at a conference organized by Tehreek-e-Difa Harmain Sharifain, Ambassador Al-Malki emphasized that the initiative aims to streamline the journey of pilgrims and ensure a hassle-free experience. It efficiently manages essential requirements such as passports, customs procedures, health necessities, and luggage transportation, facilitating their accommodations in the holy city of Makkah, the ambassador said.

‘Road to Makkah’ Initiative Part of ‘Vision 2030’

Highlighting the deep-rooted fraternal ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, Ambassador Al-Malki stated that the ‘Road to Makkah’ initiative is part of the visionary ‘Vision 2030’ framework, showcasing the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and providing unwavering support to Pakistan.

President of Tehreek-e-Difa Harmain Sharifain, Maulana Ali Muhammad Abu Turab, expressed gratitude to the Saudi Embassy and Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki for their dedicated and fraternal efforts in assisting Pakistan and its people.

Religious scholars and dignitaries from various denominations also attended the conference, appreciating the unwavering support from Saudi Arabia. They recognized the pivotal role played by both nations in fostering unity within the Muslim Ummah and maintaining strong fraternal relations.
