ISLAMABAD: Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki on Tuesday inaugurated the Extravaganza 2022 at the new campus of International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad.
The Extravaganza 2022 was organized by IIU, Islamabad.
The exhibition will continue till December 9, 2022, during which speeches, a food gala, a book fair, an art exhibition, competitions of Qirat & Naat and Mushaira, and a media hunt are being organized.
On the first day, food festivals, flower exhibitions, and a book fair were organized.
IIUI President Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Dr. Mukhatar Ahmed, diplomats of Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia, IIUI officials, and a large number of students attended the inaugural ceremony.
True picture of IIUI’s international, Islamic character
The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia said on the occasion that the extravaganza 2022 is a true picture of IIUI’s international and Islamic character.
The Ambassador said these activities would provide a platform for the youth to display their talent and utilize their energies.
The Saudi Ambassador said IIUI is playing a special role in nurturing the Muslim youth in accordance with Islamic teachings.
The Ambassador also shed light on Pak-Saudi relations and said both Islamic countries have deep-rooted and historic brethren ties.
