Saudi Arabia Arrests Over 10,000 Law Violators in Joint Raids

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Saudi authorities conducted joint field security raids from June 13-19, targeting violators of residency, labor, and border security laws across the Kingdom. The campaign resulted in 10,917 arrests, including 6,969 for residency law violations, 2,967 for border security violations, and 981 for labor law violations.

Additionally, 1,100 individuals were apprehended while attempting to illegally enter Saudi Arabia, with 26% being Yemeni nationals, 72% Ethiopian, and 2% from other nationalities. Forty-four people were arrested for attempting to cross the border out of Saudi Arabia illegally. One individual was also arrested for aiding and abetting violators of various laws.
