Saudi Arabia, Brazil Ink Defense Agreement

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia and Brazil have signed a cooperation agreement in the defense field, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.

The deal was signed during a meeting between Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Brazilian Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Trade and Services Geraldo Alckmin in Riyadh.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral ties and discussed enhancing cooperation in the defense industries, technology transfer, research and development and localization in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Both leaders also discussed the latest regional and global developments.

Vice Minister of Defense Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf and several senior officials from both countries were also present on the occasion.
