MAKKAH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is ensuring top-notch facilities for Hajj pilgrims who came from all corners of the globe.

A dedicated center has been set up at the Hajj Media Hub to provide information and guidance to the pilgrims, with a continuous flow of visitors.

These views were shared by Pakistani journalist and social media influencer Yasir Shami during his conversation with APP. Shami is currently in Saudi Arabia on a special invitation from the Saudi government.

Shami mentioned that 1100 social media influencers from various countries, including two from Pakistan, were invited by the Saudi government. He is one of the influencers representing Pakistan.

During his visit to the Media Hub Center, Shami noted that the Saudi Ministry of Interior has established its own pavilion at the Hajj Media Hub to inform about the measures undertaken along the Makkah route.

This initiative is part of the Hajj Experience Program under Saudi Vision 2030, with the goal of offering top-quality services to pilgrims from countries using the Makkah Route in collaboration with different government bodies.

The Hajj Media Hub, organized by the Ministry of Media, is running from June 10 to 16 at the Makkah Chamber Exhibitions and Events Center. Visitors to the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion can learn about the crucial role played by the Makkah Route Initiative in facilitating the Hajj journey for many countries.

This is the sixth Hajj season that pilgrims from 11 airports across seven countries, including Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Morocco, Bangladesh, Turkey, and Ivory Coast, can undergo pre-clearance procedures in their own countries. This facility has significantly reduced wait times and queues for Hajj pilgrims upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.

Shami expressed his satisfaction with the Saudi government’s arrangements for Hajj pilgrims, noting that all government institutions are diligently fulfilling their duties.
